The Preserve and Dr. Piper Center collect new, unwrapped toys for children of all ages

Through December 23, 2022, toys can be dropped off at The Preserve, located at 14750 Hope Center Loop in Fort Myers daily between the hours of 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.

The Dr. Piper Center has collected toys for underprivileged children in the Dunbar community since 1915. This year the center plans to serve over 600 boys and girls at its 107th Christmas Celebration.

The Dr. Piper Center is a nonprofit organization that works to make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly, at-risk youth, special needs children and our communities. The organization focuses on connecting seniors with underprivileged youth through various programs and helping both groups in the process.

“At the Preserve, community engagement is one of our core principles and we are proud to be partnering with the Dr. Piper Center as a drop off location for its annual toy drive,” said Ryan Keller, executive director at The Preserve. “It is important for our team and our residents to stay connected with the community and this is a great way for us to give back to local children for the holidays.”
